shipping policy

While we continue to navigate and respond to current events, North Authentic is committed to making the safety of our employees and community of customers a top priority. As we fulfill orders and process returns at our warehouse, increased safety precautions are being taken at every step, and we are doing everything we can to get your orders and refunds to you as quickly as possible. That said, due to the impact of COVID-19 on our fulfillment center—and on shipping carriers nationwide—we anticipate that both order and return processing may take longer than usual. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this time.

We currently ship to U.S. addresses including Alaska, Hawaii and U.S. Territories. We do not ship to APO/FPO addresses.

5 to 8 business day transit on all orders. Please note that order processing may take up to 2 business days after the order is placed for standard shipping. Orders placed weekdays before 2:00 P.M. PST / 5:00 P.M. EST will ship same day. Orders placed after 2:00 P.M. PST / 5:00 P.M. EST or on weekends or holidays will ship the following business day.

If your order contains a pre-order product, the order will ship once the pre-order item becomes available.

Returns and exchanges

Refunds on items eligible for returns are accepted within 30 days of receipt. Items must be returned unopened/unused, with tags, in their original packaging. Any items that are damaged when we receive them are not eligible for a refund. If a returned item is open or used, any refund shall be at North Authentic’s discretion according to North Authentic’s terms for the refund (which may include setting up a North Authentic account for a store credit refund).

For returns, please reach out to returns@shopnorthauthentic.com or call 949-627-9998, Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm PST / 11am-8pm EST. For emails, use the subject header, “Start A Return.” List your order number, the item you are returning, and the reason for your return. If your items is eligible for return, we can issue a pre-paid shipping label to you. You will then be able to print a pre-paid shipping label. Print the pre-paid shipping label, affix it to you package and take the package to a drop-off location. Please note that the return label fee varies by item which will be deducted from your refund. If you would like to use your own return shipping method (US orders only), we will issue you a return form and reference number as well as return instructions. Once filled out, pack return items in original condition with return form and send to:

30 days of receipt. Any item returned after 30 days of receipt is not eligible for refund.

Open or used products are not eligible for return. Please note that we do not accept returns of gift cards, final sale merchandise, perishable goods, hazardous material, flammable liquids or gases or products that are specified as non-returnable in its description, unless they are faulty. Any exceptions to this policy will be listed under product details on the product page.

We do not accept exchanges, as items may sell out while the requested exchange is returned and processed. We recommend returning the unwanted item and placing a new order.

A refund will be issued once we have received your returned items. Any items that are damaged when we receive them are not eligible for refund. Refunds do not include any shipping or handling charges, except in the case of faulty or damaged items. Your refund will be credited to the original form of payment used for the original transaction and will be in the amount of the Product price less a the return label fee if applicable. Any duties paid for orders shipped to Canada and will NOT be refunded. Please note that credit card refunds may take up to 10 business day for your bank to complete, depending on their processing times. This can vary greatly between credit card issuers.

There are multiple ways you can earn Conscious Credits towards the North Authentic rewards program. They include: Create an account, celebrate a birthday, make a purchase, follow us on Instagram, write a review, subscribe to our newsletter, and take the hair quiz.

Turn your conscious credits into cash! For every 200 points, you will receive a $5 credit towards your next purchase.

Once you reached a 200 point threshold, you will receive a one time coupon code that you need to enter at checkout. To find the code, go to the rewards page and click on the circle at the bottom right corner of your screen. Make sure you are signed into your account and then follow the steps when it says your rewards.

Ingredients

North Authentic carries multiple brands which are formulated gluten free. Each product that is formulated without the use of gluten-containing ingredients is marked as such on their product detail page and in our shopping filters. However, the only products that are Certified Gluten Free at this time are Evolvh and Briogeo products.

Although our brands take every precaution to ensure the purity of products, there is potential risk during the manufacturing process of cross-contamination when products are manufactured in a facility that is not Certified as a Gluten Free facility.

If you have concerns we suggest consulting with your health practitioner before using our products if you are sensitive to all aspects of wheat.

No. Per our brand partners, all of our products are cruelty free (i.e., not tested on animals). However, Viviscal Pro Supplements do contain animal by-product ingredients.

While many of our brand partner products contain certified organic ingredients, unless a product is marked with our Organic Brand Badge, then the ingredients, in their entirety, have not been certified "Organic."

No, at North Authentic we are pushing for all products to be free of synthetic fragrance. Products marked with our "Synthetic Fragrance Free" Brand Badge and in our shopping filters are free of parfum, perfume, and synthetic fragrance. They may contain a scent derived from natural ingredients.
